The 16th annual Dartmouth Community Medical School’s public spring lecture series kicks off March 12. The series, entitled “Discovery and Innovation in Health: It Takes a Team,” includes lectures by physicians, postdoctoral fellows, health care professionals, and others in the field.

“I’m really looking forward to interacting with the audience,” says , director of the Dartmouth Community Medical School. “They’re great, they’re knowledgeable. The feedback and good conversations really enrich the lectures.”

The speaker series gives members of the Dartmouth community and area residents the opportunity to learn about health and medicine from the physicians and professors from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

“We have a role in lifelong learning. Dartmouth Community Medical School is part of a continuing medical education,” says Green, the Elmer R. Pfefferkorn Professor and Chair of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.

All sessions are open to the public and run from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in Kellogg Auditorium at the Geisel School of Medicine. A $30 registration fee covers all sessions. For more information, visit the website.
